Over 30 years of experience in education

d'Insle was established in 1992, becoming one of the pioneering Montessori-certified schools in Zurich. In 2010, the Sprungbrett school opened its doors. With a wealth of experience in Montessori education, we uphold the highest quality standards. Over the past three decades, we have empowered children to achieve their full potential academically and socially. Our partnerships with the Association Montessori Switzerland (AMS) and the Swiss Universities of Teacher Education (PHs) keep us at the cutting edge of educational advancement, ensuring our students are well-prepared to thrive in the 21st century.

Only school in Zurich with a fully integrated pre-Kindergarten to primary school offering

We are the only Montessori school in Zurich offering a fully integrated educational curriculum that spans from pre-kindergarten (newborns) to primary school (12 years). Our framework allows for a smooth transition between various class levels under one cohesive roof, ensuring a consistent and rigorous application of our Montessori curriculum while maintaining the same high-quality standards across all classes and locations.

Trilingual - German, English and French

Children possess an innate talent for language acquisition. As highlighted by the insights of Maria Montessori and supported by contemporary neuroscience, children experience a critical window for language development between the ages of 0 to 6 years. Our Montessori schools implement an immersive language teaching approach for both German and English. Following this method, children learn from instructors who are fluent in both German and English. Additionally, French is introduced in kindergarten as a third language.

Partnerships with Zurich's leading private Gymnasiums

d'Insle and Sprungbrett have established partnerships with Zurich's leading private Gymnasiums such as the Freies Gymnasium Zürich and Dr. Buchmann Schule, with the aim to offer a seamless transition from our primary schools to secondary schools, respectively Gymnasium. Furthermore we offer intensive preparatory lessons for the Gymnasium during the 5th and 6th class, which is included in our offering.

A broad and comprehensive offering of extracurricular activities

We are committed not only to the academic achievements of our students but also to their emotional and physical wellness by providing a diverse range of extracurricular activities beyond the classroom. Our goal is to nurture each student’s unique interests and talents through an extensive selection of leisure courses, including martial arts, yoga, playball, ballet, coding, instrument lessons, and more.
